Cubicle 7 Entertainment and Sophisticated Games are proud to announce that they are jointly developing The One Ring: The Lord of the Rings® Role-playing Game.

We are moving TolkienMoot 2010 to a different weekend than previously. In the past it was the last weekend of July. But we are looking at other (and hopefully better) alternatives. Please quickly make your vote from the poll on which weekends you would most likely attend. Notice the dates with asterisks, those are referred/recommended weekends. Also note the weekends that conflict with other known events.

At last the eight issue of Other Minds Magazine is available. Other Minds Magazine is a free international magazine available to the public created by and for Tolkien enthusiasts.

Volunteering is easy, and doesn't have to be a huge committment. Some only spend about 15 minutes a week (about 1 hour per month). The more people helping out, the less load on any one individual. So far we have a number active volunteers working on the new website, but we still have plenty of areas that could use help, so please sign up today. Sign up to today as a volunteer for the longest running, and one of the largest, website communities dedicated to role playing gaming in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. Merp.com has been serving the community since 1998.
Merp.com 7.0 Request For Comments before beginning development.
Before we do upgrade the site, it would be nice to get feedback from users on what they feel has been an improvement, and what they feel is missing and needs to be considered in the major (7.0) version of the site. We currently have more than 5,000 registered users (down from a peak of 20,000 a few years ago), if even just 1/100th helped, the site will rapidly progress. So please let your voice per heard and comment before the development begins.
SuiteGM has moved (changed domains)
In an effort to cut down on costs and administrative overhead, equalling time lost on actually developing this product, I let the suitegm.com and suitegm.org domains go. The site is now hosted at Sourceforge: http://suitegm.sourceforge.net. SuiteGM is an opensource, Java-based application to help GM's (and players) enhance game play.
