People beginning to step up to save the sites and the servers.
Several people have stepped up with offers to help save the sites and servers in various ways. Things are still in flux. More details later. For now, things back online for some sites now.
Last chance for Tolkien-related sites like Middle-earth Radio, Merp.com and others. Will you step up to save them? Or will it be "good riddance"?
Sorry to have to take such strong actions, but circumstances have forced the issue. This is the last chance for someone to step up and run merp.com (and/or the number of other sites like Middle-earth Radio and others).

MERP for Skyrim
Surprisingly, no one at merp.com mentioned (or knew?) about the project to create a Middle-earth mod to Skyrim. It has been going on for quite some time, they have recently received a C&D from dark hand of Sauron. They call it MERP for Middle-earth Role-playing, but they are not actually related to the Middle-earth Role-playing community here, or ICE, or elsewhere, so this might cause some name confusion. Anyhow, here are some links and more information about them. If you play Skyrim/Elder Scrolls, etc. and try their MERP mods, please let folks here at merp.com know more about your experience. Namarie!
