Views
The Sindar are Eldar and were originally part of the great kindred called the Teleri. Unlike the Noldor, Vanyar, and bulk of the Teleri, the Sindar chose not to cross over the sea to Aman; instead they stayed in Middle-earth. They, like the Nandor and Avari, are part of the Moriquendi, who never saw the light of Valinor.
