A term used to describe any role playing gaming done in [J.R.R. Tolkien's]? imaginary portion of the world he called [Middle-earth]?, it is the Northwest corner of the continent known as [Endor]?, on the "planet" known as "[Arda]?", in the universe it was giving "being" and called "[Eä]?".
Sometimes people think this term is synonymous with [Iron Crown Enterprises]?' MERP, but the term is used here merely in the more generic version of any role playing in Middle-earth. Typically, if referring to [ICE]?'s MERP, it will usually be referred to as ICE MERP, [ICE MERPS]?, or simply [MERPS]? or MERP.
