The southern-most portion of Harlindon. In origin, this country’s sorbiquet was derived from an alternate form of [Dor Leithien]?. But the standardizing of the name Bar-i-Dinuviel for one of Harlindon’s southern small ports naturally caused the name to be associated with a part of its original broader territory. It is populated mostly by Laegrim and Sindar. Few or no (in later periods) Noldor reside here.
Eastward, toward the Baranduin, the border upon the lands of Men marchs west in slow increments, a mile or so a hundred years, much to the sadness of its marcher-folk, who sometimes in the night pass into the pastures to mourn.
