A volutneer who would periodically see what events happened in "this day" in Middle-earth time in various calendars and parts of the Middle-earth and other parts of Tolkien's world/universe, and post it in the "[Middle-earth news]?" "[Numenor news]?" "[Gondor news]?" "[Arnor news]?" etc. sort of like local press agents for Endor. ;-) this of course can be many different people.
