Tolkien made much of music in his works. From the creation of the universe from song, to the solace and emotion fo Elvish music and song, to the disheartening song of the orcs. Music was pervasive. This section of the site covers discussion of music and it's influences in Tolkien's world, as well as the many artists and music compositions inspired by his works that exist in the "real" world.
