Greetings!

Hi there.  New to the site in the last week or so, and I've been looking around. What a great resource for fans of Tolkien and Middle-Earth.  I'm an old-school D&D'er myself, and I've got a bunch of the ICE MERP books that I've always toyed around with running. Thanks for hosting such a wealth of knowledge and lore of all things Middle-Earth!

One question: Do you plan to convert all of the previous maps from the old site, as well as the other downloadable docs?

We are going to move all content steadily over from the old site to the new site, that is "okay" to move over.

There is a LOT of clean up to do from the old site, including redundant, corrupt, and other content that should not be moved over. But we will be moving over as much as possible, though it may takes weeks, or even months, depending on how active the Volunteer Team members are in helping out.

The more that actively help, the faster it will transfer. The old site will remain online during the transition though, so feel free to swing by http://old.merp.com and access the content as needed.

 I'm having problems looking at the stuff on the old website. Is the stuff on there frozen so I can't like download it or something?

many of the links to or about ICE MERP content had to be removed due to a Cease & Desist order issued by Tolkien Enterprises. The links are still visible, but are deliberately broken. - is that what you were referring to?
