Systems Conversions
Up one levelVarious rules, references, utilities, and more for converting between different role playing gaming rpg systems to play in Middle-earth.
- MERP to d20 conversion by Morgil
- This appears to be a great approach if you're a hardcore MERP/HARP/Rolemaster player, and not very experienced with d20/D&D yet. So if you're trying to transition from MERP to d20 these are the rules for you! Created by Merp.com member Morgil.
- d20 3.5 modified to fit Middle-earth, called Eä-d20
- A project working on a d20 version of Middle-earth Role-playing (not to be confused with ICE MERP). Trying to encompass more than just Middle-earth too, more of a complete Eä approach (the entire Tolkien universe). Whereas MERPd20 (Morgil's) approach is to convert ICE MERP to d20 rules, this an attempt to convert d20 to fit Middle-earth. Resources include ICE MERP, Decipher LotR, all of Tolkien's works and letters, Other Hands, the Middle-earth d20 project at EN World, and essays by Michael Martinez and Chris Seeman, and more. House rules may also be posted, but separate from "core" rules. Discuss this at ea@merp.com mailing list or in the Merp.com forums under Eä
