Last time, when Decipher's LotR was announced, a sweep of ALL Tolkien-fan and
other related sites was made against everyone, shutting down scores of
sites and of course the beloved Other Hands magazine and others.

Hopefully this group will be more embracing and less draconian (fingers
crossed) towards the community. Time will tell...

It will also be interesting to see if this company is as hamstrung as
Decipher was with the severe restrictions placed on them by Tolkien
Enterprises. Will this just be another rehash (albeit hopefully an
improvement) over the Decipher LotR fiasco? Or will they be able to
cover a broader range with more depth and accuracy and research and not
just lots of "pretty pictures"?

Anyone familiar with the folks mentioned: Dominic McDowall-Thomas,
Francesco Nepitello, or the game companies?
