Up one level- Middle-Earth Adventure Game v3.2 (MEAG)
- A generalization and expansion of the rules created by ICE for the Middle-earth Quest books and then for the Lord of the Rings Adventure Game (LOR) (ICE #LR0, LR1, LR2). The LOR game was shipped in a boxed set with Guidelines, maps, cardboard characters and a scenario book titled "Dawn Comes Early." The MEAG version is a comprehensive FRPG specifically designed for ME gaming, with new roleplayers in mind. It is suitable for introductory play, but is complete enough to be used by anyone who does not want complex rules to get between the players and the roleplaying.

- Middle-Earth Adventure Game v4.2 (MEAG)
- This 4.2 version is a small update to v4.1 in a few areas where some difficulties came up when creating the new versions of the Sample Characters (I went back to the LOR originals and didn't just bring the v3.2 characters upto v4.2). ___ The v4.1 version of MEAG incorporates most of the optional rules of v3.2 as core rules, smooths out conflicts and in general clarifies areas where questions have come up during play. JR Gracen and I also dropped the DB bonuses of weapons when Parrying and introduced Initiative bonuses for weapons instead. Races and Professions where "decoupled" and updated to be more balanced (you can now play a Dwarf Scout, a Hobbit Warrior, etc. if you wish). Also, Magic has been reworked to make more of a distinction between Mages, Healers and Seers, plus rules for creating Potions and Scrolls have been expanded and clarified. Finally, rules for fighting with two weapons and fighting from horseback have bee added. ____ MEAG - A generalization and expansion of the rules created by ICE for the Middle-earth Quest books and then for the Lord of the Rings Adventure Game (LOR) (ICE #LR0, LR1, LR2).
